A Registry Study Following the Outcomes of Patients Receiving Standard of Care Treatment for Pain due to Osteoarthritis of the Knee

(IRB#: IRB_00199394)

In this study, we are looking for people who are planning to start a new standard medical treatment or procedure for knee pain caused by osteoarthritis. The main goal of this study is to compare how well these common treatments work to reduce your knee pain. We will collect information about you, including your medical history and any past treatments or medications you have used for knee pain caused by osteoarthritis. We will also gather information about your new treatment and how well it works by asking you to fill out questionnaires. Some of these questionnaires will be completed using a diary app on your own phone or tablet. If you are scheduled to have knee replacement surgery, we will collect information about how well the surgery works. We will also record information about the costs of different treatments. Your participation in the study will last about 20 months.
