Face-MAP: Facial Motor Activity Program

You are being asked to join a research study because you have been referred to the University of Utah Department of Neurosurgery for evaluation or treatment of facial pain. Taking part in this study is your choice. You can decide not to join, or you can stop at any time. Your decision will not affect the medical care you receive. Facial pain can be hard to diagnose and treat, and some people continue to have pain even after treatment. The goal of this study is to create a patient registry that collects information over time. This includes medical records, imaging studies, survey answers, and other health measurements. By collecting this information, researchers hope to better understand facial pain and how different treatments work. This may help improve future care and lead to more personalized treatment options.
