Experiences with Eye Care Services

The purpose of this study is to find out how doctors and clinics can make it easier for you and/or your child to get eye care that is needed. For this research study, we are looking for people to interview who have been referred, or those with a child who has been referred, from the Redwood Health Center to an eye doctor for eye concerns.

Inclusion Criteria
- A parent or guardian of at least one child (aged 3 to 17 years) who was referred to Primary Children's Hospital or the Moran Eye Center for a vision-related concern by a primary care doctor at the Redwood Health Center at least 6 months prior to their most recent well-child visit.
- An adult (aged 18+ years) referred to the Moran Eye Center for a vision-related concern by a primary care doctor at the Redwood Health Center at least 6 months prior to their most recent primary care visit.
Exclusion Criteria
- Parents or guardians of children younger than 3 or older than 17 years.
- Adult patients or children were not referred to an eye care provider at the Moran Eye Center or Primary Children's Hospital.
- Adult patients or children who had already seen an eye doctor before the referral by the primary care doctor.
