Testing study drug ABBV-142, for people with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

(IRB#: IRB_00197853)

This research study is testing a drug called ABBV-142 to see if it can help people with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), a lung disease. If you are able to join the study, you will take part for about 52 weeks (1 year), and you may choose to stay in the study for up to 28 months total. After the first 52 weeks, you can continue in the study and either keep taking the study drug or start taking it if you were previously given a placebo (a treatment with no active drug). During the study, you may need to visit the study center up to 30 times, depending on how long you stay in the study. To be eligible, you must be 40 years of age or older and have been diagnosed with IPF within the past 7 years before the screening visit.
