Responsibly Co-designing with Higher Education Faculty using Matchmaking for AI

Many college instructors and teaching assistants face increasing workloads. This study examines how artificial intelligence (AI) can helpwhen it is designed and used responsibly. We will work directly with faculty to codesign AI tools that meet their needs, using a collaborative method called Matchmaking for AI to identify both appropriate and inappropriate uses. Our goal is to ensure that AI in higher education is effective, ethical, and shaped by educators themselves.
