An investigation into why cancers are being diagnosed in adults with predisposition syndromes

We are trying to understand why cancers diagnosed in people under age 50 are rising. The causes may be genetic, lifestyle-related, or due to environmental or job-related exposures. To solve the issue of cancers in this population, we need help from cancer-free volunteers who are aged 18-80, who live in the Mountain West (Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, New Mexico), who are willing to participate future data collection efforts (e.g. yearly surveys, environmental monitoring, blood samples), and will grant us permission to access their health and address data. We invite anyone to participate in this effort. If you have a cancer diagnosis, please tell your cancer-free friends, spouse, or others in your community about this effort. Right now, we are assembling a list of interested people who will be contacted for future studies and who can grant consent for us to access health data.
