A Clinical Study Testing an Experimental Drug Compared with Placebo in Adults with Moderate to Severe Ulcerative Colitis

The purpose of this study is to learn how different amounts of a study drug called RO7837195 affect people with ulcerative colitis. Researchers want to find out if the drug helps, if it causes side effects, or if both happen. RO7837195 is an experimental drug. This means it has not yet been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat ulcerative colitis. In this study, you will receive either the experimental drug or a placebo. A placebo looks like the study drug but does not contain any medicine. About 224 people will take part in this study.
