Testing Ultrasonic Brain Stimulation for People with Fibromyalgia

(IRB#: IRB_00188950)

Fibromyalgia is a condition that causes chronic pain in the body. This study will test low-intensity ultrasound brain stimulation to treat people with this disease. The study wants to see if the stimulation will help develop drug-free, effective ways for people with chronic pain. People in the study will have magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), a way to see the inside of the body. People will also have ultrasound brain stimulation and complete surveys about pain and other symptoms. Being in the study requires 7 in-person visits and 7 online visits over about 90 days. Participants are paid for time in the study.
