Developing a Nasoendoscopic Tremor Rating Assessment for People with Vocal Tremor

This study will validate a Nasoendoscopic exam assessment tool for rating tremor clinical features in the upper airway structures for people with vocal tremor. This study wants to develop valid and reliable clinical assessment tools for identifying vocal tremor affecting speech structures. Participants of the study will be experts in the fields of neurology, otolaryngology, and speech-language pathology. Being in the study requires attending two to four group sessions. Each session will last about 2 hours. Participants will provide feedback about the content and structure of a vocal tremor assessment tool.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Ages 18 to 83 years old
  • Experts in the fields of neurology, otolaryngology, and speech-language pathology
  • At least 5 years of experience clinically working with patients who have vocal tremor
  • Familiar with clinical assessment and treatment approaches
  • Speak and read English
