Testing the Drug Spesolimab for People with Pyoderma Gangrenosum
(IRB#: IRB_00186539)
Pyoderma Gangrenosum is a rare skin disease that causes painful ulcers on the skin. This study will test a drug called Spesolimab to treat people with this disease. This study wants to see if the drug will help people with this disease and is safe. People in the study will be randomly chosen to be treated with Spesolimab or a placebo. The placebo looks like the study drug but does not have the medication. Being in the study requires about 20 study visits at the clinic over 1.5 years. Medical tests will be done throughout the study to track the health of participants.
