Navigating Gender-Affirming Care for Transgender Communities

(IRB#: IRB_00185998)

This study wants to better understand the experiences of transgender and gender-diverse people and their loved ones when accessing gender-affirming care. Being in the study requires attending a group discussion held virtually online for about 90 minutes. People will be paid for participation. The information learned will help identify challenges people face in getting care, the medical and social needs that are not being met, and how Utah's current cultural climate influences decisions about medical care. The study will help improve healthcare services and support for transgender and gender-diverse individuals and their families.
