Family Caregiving, Work, and Employer Leave Policies

(IRB#: IRB_00185711)

Often caregivers are unpaid family members who also must work for income to live. This may create challenges as these caregivers may need to take time off work. There are no federal paid family leave laws, but some states have policies that help by giving income, job protection and time off for caregiving. This study wants to see how caregiving and work policies impact caregivers well-being. People in the study will participate in a 60-minute interview online via Zoom to share their experiences as a caregiver. People will be paid for study participation.
