Suicide Risk of Domestic and International Students in Higher Education in the United Kingdom and South Korea
(IRB#: IRB_00183413)
Education is important to South Korea's development since the republic's birth in 1948. Strong emphasis on education has created a highly competitive and harsh education climate. This may impact the rising rates of academic stress and poor mental health among students in the nation. This study wants to learn the risk of suicide among South Korean students who are studying in the UK higher education institutions and their home country. This study will see how academic pressure predicts poor mental health and suicide risk. People in the study will complete online surveys that will take up to 10 minutes.
