Testing the Drug Barzolvolimab for People with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria

(IRB#: IRB_00179700)

Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria causes chronic hives that last for 6 weeks or more and appear 3-5 times a week. This study will test a drug called Barzolvolimab for people with this condition. The study wants to see if it will help people and is safe. People in the study will be randomly chosen to receive Barzolvolimab or a placebo. A placebo looks like the drug but does not have the medication. Being in the study requires completing surveys and attending up to 19 in-person visits at the study clinic for about 72 weeks. Medical tests will be done during the study to track the health of participants.
