Top Performance in Residential Construction

(IRB#: IRB_00179322)

This study wants to learn strategies that lead to top performance in residential (home) construction to prevent injuries and errors. Top performance will be assessed by residential construction workers doing various tasks such as climbing a ladder to reach a platform and hammering nails into a frame. People in the study will wear sensors that record body movements during the tasks. People will also complete a survey and participate in an interview. Being in the study requires attending a 2-hour in-person visit at the University of Utah.
