Testing the drug XEN1101 for People with Primary Generalized Tonic-Clonic Seizures

(IRB#: IRB_00159508)

Primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures are seizures that start in both sides of the brain at the same time. This study will test a drug called XEN1101 to treat adults with this disease. The study wants to see if the drug will help people with the disease and is safe. People in the study will be randomly chosen to be treated with XEN1101 or a placebo. A placebo looks like the drug but does not contain the medication. Being in the study requires attending in-person visits at the study clinic, with some phone call visits too. The study lasts up to about 29.5 weeks. Medical tests will be done during the study to track the health of participants.
