Assessing People with Peripheral Neuropathy

(IRB#: IRB_00146008)

Peripheral Neuropathy is a disorder of the longest nerves in the body. The disorder results in symptoms of numbness, tingling, and sometimes pain that begins at the toes and may spread up the legs. This can last over months or years, causing problems with balance. The study will assess people diagnosed with neuropathy or those at risk of neuropathy for signs, symptoms, and severity of peripheral neuropathy. People in the study will complete surveys and various medical tests such as physical and neurological exams. The medical tests will vary dependent on the participant specific needs. Being in the study requires attending in person at the study clinic for at least one day.
