A Study to Help People Quit Smoking

Tobacco use is the leading cause of death and disability in the U.S. that is preventable. Just-In-Time is a tool developed for preventing and treating addictions. Research is needed to know the effectiveness of the tool. The information we learn may aid future patients.

Who can participate?

 Gender: All genders

  Age: Over 18 years old

  Volunteers: Healthy Volunteers

   Location: From Home

Inclusion Criteria

  • 18 years and older
  • Speak, read, and write in English
  • Current smoker with an interest to quit smoking
  • A working phone number and home address
  • Access to internet

Exclusion Criteria

  • Unable to use nicotine patch
  • Unable to use nicotine gum
  • Currently using medications to quit smoking
  • Pregnant
